FAQs

Where should we stay?

There are plenty of cute + cozy B&B’s to choose from, for your stay in Fredericksburg. I highly recommend Allie’s Spot. It’s an adorable spot in town owned by two of our local Primary School teachers. You’re sure to enjoy your stay.

Favorite Shops?

My favorite shops on Main: It’s A Glow, Fredericksburg Natural Baby, Barefoot, Earthbound, Liebeskind, and Circle E Candles.

What all can we do?

Most that come to Fredericksburg, come for two reasons: shop till you drop + wine. However, the town has so much more to offer. Market Platz, The Nimitz Museum, The Wildseed Farm, Yogi Park, and Enchanted Rock are a few of my favorites.

Where should we eat?

So many places to choose from when it comes to food. If you want food + music, I recommend Hondo’s on Main. I love their THREE CRUNCHIES to munch on before enjoying a Slob Cobb Salad with extra ranch.

If you’re wanting authentic German food, Der Lindebaum is where it’s at. I love Schnitzels.

Do you have littles? They’re going to love Clear River Ice Cream, Bakery & Deli for lunch. The BLT and a cup of butter pecan ice-cream is my go to. Tubby’s Ice-House, located behind the Nimitz Museum, has refreshing food + a small playground for the littles. A personal favorite of my little is Mister Gatti’s Pizza, food + games.

As you can see this is getting long, because I love food. One of my absolute favorites? Backwoods BBQ, you can’t visit Texas and not have BBQ. Seriously, the marble brisket is finger licking good. If you’re in town on the weekend, you have to go to Backwoods for steak night. It’s the best.

A few others that I enjoy: La Tequila Jalisco, Mamacitas, Auslander, and you can’t forget to have Andy’s Steak & Seafood Grille on Sunday morning for their all you can eat buffet.
